I am a product manager, advisor, builder/operator of startups and have been a technology leader in large enterprises (multiple industries) focusing on strategic technology initiatives — planning, technology roadmaps, innovation, building, leading digital transformation and supporting culture change.

This site has some of my writing: notes on technology leadership, tech trends and their implications, AI, higher education, and the work of moving large institutions forward.

How I used AI in this blog

I wrote this blog to connect with people and to think through ideas. I sometimes used AI for research and brainstorming — but it would defeat the point to hand off my own thinking to a copilot. When a post is about AI specifically, I’m clear about what part is AI; the writing and the words are otherwise my own.
